Sarah Knight and Wendy Zimbone spoke on April 13th, 2015 to the faculty and students the University of Texas Dallas regarding intellectual property protection for software. The presentation included “ten things you should know about protecting software” and ranged from the IP concepts of patent and copyrights to open source licensing and license compatibility. The presentation had great participation from the UT Dallas researchers and students who are developing software through their research and coursework on campus.
